On Friday morning, at Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama, Her Excellency the Governor, who is patron in chief of the Australia Day Council of South Australia, Mr Bunten, and Ms Sophie Bunten attended the ‘Mourning in the Morning’ Smoking Ceremony.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor’s Deputy from 4pm on Friday, 26 January 2024 until 8:30pm on Sunday, 28 January 2024.
