On Monday morning, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Pip Hold Shoes at Bridgewater, as part of a series of visits to industry.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Amanda Wilson, Mayor of the City of Holdfast Bay; Mr Jeffrey Newchurch, Chair, Kaurna Repatriation Trust; Ms Lynette Crocker, Senior Kaurna Elder; Ms Merle Simpson, Senior Kaurna Liaison Officer, Green Adelaide; and Ms Marine Lock, General Manager, Community and Business; Ms Jenni Reynolds, Arts and Cultural Coordinator; Ms Julia Garnaut, Curator, History and Exhibitions, City of Holdfast Bay.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons, hosted a reception to thank the supporters of Youth Opportunities Australia Limited.

Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten received Dr James Muecke AM, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia, and Mrs Mena Muecke OAM; The Honourable Chief Justice Chris Kourakis, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia; and The Honourable Justice Mark Livesey, President, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of South Australia, and Mrs Catey Livesey, followed by a dinner.
