In the morning, at Morphett Vale, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed staff and students at Wirreanda Secondary School.

Afterwards, at Lonsdale, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA SA), accompanied by Mr Bunten, toured the RSPCA’s Lonsdale Shelter.

Afterwards, at the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a memorial service for the late Ms Jane Yuile.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Mrs Diana Daphne Barr and Ms Lisa Barr.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Hutt Street Centre, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards to Hutt Street Centre volunteers.

Afterwards, at Palace Nova East End Cinema, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Film Corporation, accompanied by Ms Sarah Alpers, attended the Adelaide screening of ‘Limbo’.
