On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Nick Hays, Executive Director, and Mr Daniel Riley, Artistic Director, Australian Dance Theatre.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received the Honourable Kyam Maher MLC, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for patronage organisations. Guests were Ms Allison Russell, Deputy Director, Public Engagement, Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium; Ms Sarah Strathearn, Director, Australian Red Cross – South Australia; Ms Helen McLean, Chief Executive Officer, Carer and Community Support SA; Mr Greg Pattinson, Chief Executive Officer, Foodbank SA & NT; Mr Aaron Chia, Chief Executive Officer, Guide Dogs SA/NT; Mr Ray Najar, President, The Lions Club of the City of Adelaide; Ms Sharyn Broer, Chief Executive Officer, Meals on Wheels SA; Mr David Wark, Chief Executive Officer, Operation Flinders Foundation; Mr Cam Pearce, President, Rotary Club of Adelaide; Mr Marcus Gehrig, Chief Executive Officer, RSPCA SA; Mr Hamilton Calder, Chief Executive Officer, Volunteering SA&NT; and Ms Sarah Brown, Director – Community Engagement, Royal Zoological Society of South Australia (Zoos SA).

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Justyna Jochym, Chief Executive Officer, Festival City Adelaide.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the South Australian Public Service Medal Association.
