On Thursday afternoon, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor, as patron of the Australian Red Cross - South Australia, accompanied by Mr Bunten, unveiled a plaque and officially opened their new Head Office.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Marģers Krams, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, and Dr Valdis Tomanis, Honorary Consul, Consulate of Latvia.

Afterwards also at Government House, the Governor farewelled Commander Alastair Cooper ADC RAN, as outgoing Commanding Officer, Navy Headquarters – South Australia, and welcomed his successor, Commander Emma McDonald-Kerr RAN.
