On Tuesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor departed Adelaide for an official visit to the Coorong.

In the morning, at Tailem Bend, the Governor was hosted by Coorong District Council for a community morning tea and, later, at the Riverside Hotel, for luncheon.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited Tailem Bend Primary School, the Vena Energy solar farm and Pangarinda Botanic Gardens.

In the evening, at the Bend Motorsport Park, the Governor was hosted at a reception by the Coorong District Council and Tailem Bend Community Centre.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed The Honourable Justice Mark Livesey to be Governor’s Deputy from 9:00 am on Tuesday, 15 August until 3:00 pm on Wednesday 16 August.
