On Tuesday morning, at Adelaide Oval, Her Excellency the Governor officially opened the 2024 International Wool Textiles Conference.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours, followed by a luncheon at which the guests were Mrs Erma Ranieri PSM, Commissioner for Public Sector Employment, The Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment; Mrs Julia Waddington-Powell, Chief Executive, South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission, and Mr Lincoln Powell; Mr Jeff Swann, Chief Officer, South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service, and Mrs Jane Swann; Mr Brenton Hastie, Acting Chief Fire Officer, South Australian Country Fire Service; Mr Paul Lemmer ASM, Executive Director of Operations, South Australian Ambulance Service; Ms Liz Connell, Deputy Officer, South Australian State Emergency Service; and Mr Andy McPharlin PSM, President, South Australian Public Service Medal Association, and Mrs Lynda McPharlin.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received the Editor and Staff of The Advertiser. Present were Mr Shashi Baltutis, Ms Kathryn Bermingham, Ms Eva Blandis, Mr Charlie Dadds, Ms Dasha Havrilenko, Mr Andrew Hough, Ms Gemma Jones, Ms Talara McHugh, Ms Emily Olle, Ms Evangeline Polymeneas, Mr Douglas Smith, and Mr Paul Starick.
