On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Ruth Mackenzie CBE, Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival.

Afterwards in Rundle Mall, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the 140th Anniversary of the Adelaide Arcade.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor participated in the 2025 SACE Board of South Australia Commendation Selection Panel. The Panel comprised Ms Michaela Bensley, Chief Executive, SACE Board of South Australia; Commissioner Cameron Baker, Commissioner, South Australian Skill Commission; Ms Aleida Mabarrack, Senior Educational Consultant, Association of Independent Schools of SA; Ms Amanda Kimber, Curriculum Manager, Learning Improvement Division, Department for Education; Mr John Foley, Manager, Workplace Culture and Innovation, Catholic Education South Australia; Ms Karen van Gorp, Senior Policy Advisor, Industry and Government Engagement, Business SA; and Ms Pam Ronan, Ex-Presiding Member, and Ms Karen Collins, Project Coordinator and Assessment, SACE Board of South Australia.

Later, the Governor spoke by telephone to Mr Jason Smith, Director, Art Gallery of South Australia, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons.
