On Friday, at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Newton, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attended, and the Governor spoke at, the State Funeral for the late Professor Peter Buckskin AM PSM.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor hosted a luncheon to welcome delegates attending the Trans-Tasman Business Circle’s Women Leaders 2026 Regional Executive Study Tour.

In the afternoon, the Governor departed Adelaide for an official visit to Japan and Indonesia.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Her Excellency The Honourable Chief Justice Laura Stein to be Governor’s Deputy from 5.10pm on Friday, 12 July until 7:25am on Saturday, 20 July.
