On Friday morning, at the National War Memorial, the Governor and Mr Bunten laid a wreath at the Victory in the Pacific 80th Anniversary Service, held by the Returned and Services League of Australia (RSL) South Australia Branch. Of which the Governor is patron.
Afterwards, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Virtual War Memorial Annual ‘Don’t Forget Me Cobber’ Luncheon.
During the day, students from Valley View Secondary School toured Government House.
Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr Richard Harris SC OAM to be Governor’s Deputy from 9:30pm on Friday, 15 August 2025 until 3:30pm on Tuesday, 9 September 2025.
