On Friday, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted the Australia-United Kingdom Ministerial Consultations (AUKMIN).

On the United Kingdom side, principal participants were the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs the Rt Hon the Lord Cameron; the Secretary of State for Defence the Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP; Sir Philip Barton KCMG OBE, Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; Her Excellency Ms Vicki Treadell CMG MVO, UK High Commissioner to Australia; Mr Damian Parmenter CBE, Director General, AUKUS, Ministry of Defence; and Brigadier Nigel Best OBE, UK Defence Attaché.

On the Australian side, principal participants were the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence the Hon Richard Marles MP; the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Penny Wong; Ms Jan Adams AO PSM, Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; His Excellency the Hon Stephen Smith, Australian High Commissioner to the UK; Mr Greg Moriarty AO, Secretary of the Department of Defence; and General Angus Campbell AO DSC, Chief of the Defence Force.
