On Friday morning, at the Adelaide Zoo, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of Zoos SA, met Ms Katheryn House AM, President, Zoos SA, Dr Phil Ainsley, Chief Executive, Zoos SA, Mr Chad Crittle, Director, Adelaide Zoo, and Mr Brendan Kilpatrick, Director Community Engagement, Zoos SA, and viewed the pandas and the Conservation Aviary.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Qian Xiao, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Australia, accompanied by Mr Mr Li Dong, Consul-General of China in Adelaide, Mr Chen Xingrui, Attache, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, and Mr Yang Yigang,

In the evening, in the grounds of Government House, the Governor and The Honourable Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South Australia, hosted a State Dinner to celebrate the establishment of Adelaide University.
