On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten received Ms Rachael Azzopardi and Mr Lee Cumberlidge, Co-Founders and Creative Directors of Illuminate Adelaide, Mr Javier Riera, the artist responsible for “A Path of Light and Time”, the illumination of Government House as part of Illuminate Adelaide’s City Lights program, and Mr Javier Palomo.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a morning tea for artists and staff of Illuminate Adelaide 2025.

Later, the Governor received Ms Rachael Azzopardi, Illuminate Adelaide, and Ms Emma Fey, Deputy Director of the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) and afterwards, with them, convened the second Government House Winter Conversation, “Courageous Women in the Arts”. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of AGSA.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten received His Excellency Mr Arto Haapea, Ambassador of Finland, Mr Steven Morton, and Mr Chris Rann, Honorary Consul of Finland.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten were hosted at dinner by their Honorary Aides-de-Camp and their partners.
