On Monday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor officiated at the Swearing-In ceremony to appoint the Premier, Deputy Premier and Treasurer.
Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Bunten departed for a Vice Regal visit to the Adelaide Hills, where, in Sitrling, they met with Dr Jan-Claire Wisdom, Mayor, and Mr Andrew Aitken, Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Hills Council, who then accompanied them throughout their visit.
Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten met with local business owners then visited the Coventry Library.
In the afternoon at the Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyards, Lenswood, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a luncheon hosted by the Adelaide Hills Council.
Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten were escorted on a driving tour through bushfire affected areas including Lobethal Bushland Park, followed by a visit to Fabrik and the Onkaparinga Woollen Mill.
Later the Governor and Mr Bunten met with Torrens Valley Community Centre volunteers and staff, followed by a walking tour through Gumeracha including the Adelaide Hills Library Service, Gumeracha and District History Centre, Gumeracha Community Shed and Federation Park, before returning to Adelaide.
