On Monday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Geoff Brock MP, Member for Stuart.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley. Guests were Mr Dean Johnson, President, Local Government Association of South Australia; Ms Elizabeth Ho OAM, Chair, History Trust of South Australia; Professor Chris Daniels, Chair, Green Adelaide; Mrs Kathryn House AM, Chair, Impact100; Ms Tiahni Adamson, 2024 South Australian Young Australian of the Year; Ms Delnia Palani, Winner, Governor’s Multicultural Awards – Youth Award; and Miss Natasha Weber, Member, South Australian Student Representative Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Sageran Naidoo, Chief Executive Officer, Sonder; and Mr Phoenix James, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Kerriann Campbell-Jones, Chief Operating Officer, Nunkuwarrin Yunti.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to welcome the delegates attending the 2024 National Schools’ Debating Championship.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to welcome delegates attending the 2024 National Suicide Prevention Conference.
