On Monday morning, the Governor departed Adelaide for an official visit to the South East, where, at Allendale East Area School, she met Ms Suzie Mitchell, Assistant Principal, Allendale East Area School, and held a discussion with students, followed by a tour of the Indigenous Garden and a briefing on the ‘Wisdom Markers’ Learning Expedition, before departing for Millicent.

In the afternoon, in Millicent, the Governor met Mr Peter Dunnicliff, Deputy Mayor, Ms Deb Agnew, Councillor, and Ms Emma Clay, Director – Development Services, Wattle Range Council, followed by a luncheon.

Later, at Wattle Range Council, the Governor met Mr Des Noll, Mayor, and Mrs Shari Noll, and Mr Paul Duka, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Wattle Range Council, before officially opening Council’s new Service Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to The Honourable Emily Bourke MLC, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, and Autism, before returning to Adelaide.
