On Monday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received His Excellency Mr Wahidullah Waissi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and Mr Fahim Hashimy,

Founder and Director of the Ghan International Film Festival.

Also in the morning, Mr Bunten received Ms Genéne Kleppe, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Digital Twinning Australia.

Later the Governor welcomed guests at a function to celebrate the birthday of the Honourable Jennifer Cashmore AM. Guests included Mrs Gillian Forwood, Mrs Margie Begg, Mrs Margaret Finlay and Mrs Margaret Southwood.

In the afternoon the Governor received Ms Penny Wright, Guardian for Children and Young People, followed by Ms April Lawrie, Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People and Ms Lee Lawrie.

In the evening in the grounds of Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to acknowledge the year 12 schooling achievements of young people under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive.

During the day students from Golden Grove High School toured Government House.
