On Sunday morning, at the Old Gum Tree Reserve, Glenelg North, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, read the Proclamation of South Australia, addressed the gathering and presented the Governor’s Civic Awards at the 189th South Australian Proclamation Day commemoration and community celebration.
