On Sunday, at the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden, the Governor attended ‘The End of Liberalism’, and, afterwards, ‘Bright Shining’, both part of Adelaide Writers’ Week.
Afterwards, at North Adelaide, the Governor, as patron of The Naval Association of Australia – South Australian Section, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering, cut the cake, and presented awards at the lunch celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Women’s Royal Australian Naval Service (WRANS) Sub Section.
In the afternoon, at the Gawler Civic Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially launched the 2024 Gawler Original Music, Arts and Poetry Events Series.
Later, at the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden, the Governor attended ‘The Future of News’, part of Adelaide Writer’s Week.
In the evening, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended ‘The Rest is Politics’, part of Adelaide Festival.
