On Sunday morning at St Peter’s Cathedral, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, delivered a reading at the Choral Eucharist in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a function for Senator the Honourable Anne Ruston, Mr Tom Fewster and Ms Ammi Yagnik.

In the evening the façade of Government House was illuminated to acknowledge the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen's accession to the throne and the start of the Platinum Jubilee year.
