On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards, at Oakden, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Heritage College, where they spoke to students and staff.
In the afternoon, at the Robin Hood Hotel, Norwood, the Governor addressed the guests at the celebration to mark Fifty Years of Women at Adelaide University Boat Club.
Later, at Government House, the Governor received Dr Richard Harris SC OAM, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia.
Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted the second of two receptions for Secondary School Student Representatives.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to celebrate Ukaria’s 10th Anniversary. Guests were Ms Ulrike Klein AO, Founder, and Mr Gustav Meincke; Mr Rob Brookman AM, Chair, and Ms Verity Laughton; Mr David McKee AO, Foundation Chair, and Mrs Pam McKee; Mrs Didy McLaurin and Ms Kirsty Roderick, Foundation Directors; and Mr Daniel Hains and Mrs Susan Hains, Mrs Joan Lyons, Mr Roger Lang, Mr James Banman and Mrs Carol Banman, Mr Bruce Lane and Dr Jenny Lane, Foundation Donors; Ms Alison Beare, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Miles Doddridge; Mr James Crabb, and Mr Anthony Marwood.
During the day, students from St Pius X School toured Government House.
