On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor spoke by telephone to Mr John Mannion, Chief Executive Officer, Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor, as patron of The Hospital Research Foundation Group, spoke by telephone to Mr Paul Flynn, Chief Executive Officer, The Hospital Research Foundation Group.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor hosted a reception to present the 2023 American Chamber of Commerce in Australia (AmCham) Global Leadership Awards and for the closing ceremony of the 2023 AmCham Academy.
