In the morning, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attended The Salvation Army 2026 Red Shield Appeal Launch.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for official guests of the investiture ceremony. Guests were Mrs Erma Ranieri PSM, Commissioner for Public Sector Employment; Mr Mark Stratton, Representing the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, SAFECOM, and Ms Jacqueline Young; Mr Cameron Devey, Representing the Chief

Officer, Deputy Chief Officer SA Metropolitan Fire Service, and Mrs Lisa Devey; Mr Paul Seager, Representing the Chief Officer, Deputy Chief Officer, SA Country Fire Service, and Mrs Dallas Seager; Mr Rob Elliott ASM, Chief Executive Officer, SA Ambulance Service; and Mr Derren Halleday, Representing the Assistant Chief Officer, Chief of Staff, State Emergency Service.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Lawrence Ben MP, Assistant Minister for Copper, Steel, Critical Metals and Minerals, and Member for Enfield.

Afterwards, the Governor was interviewed by Mr Adam Wilson, Host, South Australian Primary Principals Association Podcast.

In the evening, at The Lab at ILA, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the launch of the Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation of South Australia’s new name and logo. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation of South Australia.
