On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, hosted a ceremony at which she invested recipients of Australian Honours with the insignia of their awards.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Chamber Music Adelaide’s ‘On The Terrace Festival’.

In the evening, at the National Wine Centre of Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially opened the 2026 South Australian Wine Industry Dinner.
