On Thursday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Jay Weatherill AO, followed by a breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA), accompanied by Mr Bunten, rang the Bradshaw Bell to mark the commencement of the second day of play of the NRMA Insurance Men’s Ashes Test: Australia v England.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the South Australia Police Christmas Concert.
