In the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Chief Justice Laura Stein, as Governor’s Deputy, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

On Thursday morning in Jakarta, Her Excellency the Governor was briefed by His Excellency Mr Rod Brazier, Australian Ambassador to Indonesia.

Afterwards, at the Ministry of Finance, the Governor met Mr Yon Arsal, President Director of the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education and, later, Mr Navin Sonthalia, President Director & CEO, and senior officials of the Mayapada Healthcare Group.

In the afternoon, at the Ambassador’s Residence, the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by the Ambassador with Flinders University alumni H.E Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture; H.E. Mr Abdul Mu’ti Minister for Primary and Secondary Education; H.E. Ms Rini Widyantini, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms; and Ms Hetifah Sjaifudian, People’s Representative Council.

Afterwards, the Governor held a meeting with Professor Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and later, with Mr Anthoni Salim, Chairman and CEO of Salim Group.

In the evening the Governor, who is patron of StudyAdelaide, addressed the guests at a StudyAdelaide Partnership in Progress reception.
