On Thursday morning, at the Crowne Plaza, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the SIDS and Kids SA Corporate Supporter Thank You Event. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of SIDS and Kids SA.

Afterwards, at Ridleyton, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Gelista Gelati, where they toured the facility and were briefed on operations, as part of a series of visits to iconic South Australian businesses.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Elizabeth Ward, followed by a luncheon.

Later, the Governor received Ms Melissa Hitchman, Crawford School of Public Policy.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Gary Cowan, Chief Executive Officer, National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.

Later, the Governor received Ms Christine McLoughlin AM, Chair and Co-Founder, and Ms Nicolle Rantanen-Reynolds, SA Chapter Leader, Minerva Network, and, afterwards, hosted a reception for the Minerva Network.

During the day, members of the Red Hat Society and Gawler Probus Club toured Government House.
