On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor received The Honourable Robert Simms MLC.

In the afternoon Mr Bunten received Mr Jeff Neale, District Governor, and Mr Brian Kretschmer, Area Governor - Area 8, Rotary District 9510.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to acknowledge retiring Members of the Legislative Council and retiring Members of Parliament. Guests included The Honourable John Dawkins MLC, President of the Legislative Council and Mrs Sheila Dawkins; The Honourable Russell Wortley MLC, Member of the Legislative Council and Ms Dana Wortley MP; Mr Peter Treloar MP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly and Member for Flinders and Mrs Annette Treloar;Mr Stephan Knoll MP, Member for Schubert and Ms Amy Heysen; and Mr Jon Gee MP, Member for Taylor and Ms Wendy Gee.
