On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a visit to the SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission Headquarters at Keswick, where they toured the premises, met with representatives from Emergency Services Organisations, and the Governor presented National Emergency Medals.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Mr John Schutz, Chief Executive, Department for Environment and Water.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the General Sir John Monash Foundation, of which the Governor is patron.

Later at Wayville, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the 2022 South Australian Tall Poppy Awards ceremony hosted by the Australian Institute of Policy and Science.
