On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards, at Lot Fourteen, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited “stone & CHALK”, where they were briefed on operations and participated in a roundtable discussion on Artificial Intelligence.
Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Mahboobeh Arayanpad, and Mrs Catherine Watkins, External Affairs Representatives of the Baha’i Community in South Australia.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Association of Justices of South Australia, hosted a reception to celebrate the Association’s 125th anniversary.
Later, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor, as patron of the Apprentice Employment Network (SA), addressed the guests at the 2023 Maxima Graduation.
The grounds of Government House will be open to the public today, Friday, 6 October, from noon until 2pm for Lunch on the Lawns, with music provided by the Playford City Concert Band.
On Sunday 8 October, Government House will hold an Open Day in conjunction with the 2023 Nature Festival. The House and Grounds will be open to the public from 10am to 4 pm.
