On Thursday morning, at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, delivered a reading at the service to mark the opening of the 2024 State Parliamentary year.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor was interviewed by Channel 9.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Taimi Allan, Mental Health Commissioner for South Australia.

In the evening, in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, presented the Governor’s Commendation Awards at the 2024 SACE Merit Ceremony.
