On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over the swearing-in of Dr Richard Harris SC, OAM, as Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia, before, together with Mr Bunten, hosting refreshments for those attending the ceremony.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as patrons of Grandcarers SA, received Mr Mike Feszczak, Chief Executive Officer, Grandcarers SA, and Dr Meredith Kiraly, Honorary Fellow, University of Melbourne.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Glen Hill and Mrs Tracy Hill, Owners, Coorong Wildside Tours, followed by a luncheon.

Later, at Festival Plaza, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the official opening of the new Flinders University Campus.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as patrons of the Royal Zoological Society of South Australia (Zoos SA), attended the Zoos South Australia Gala Dinner.
