On Tuesday morning, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of the Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA), attended MESHA’s 18th annual Remembrance Day Breakfast.
Later, at the South Australian War Memorial, the Governor, as patron and honorary life member of The Returned and Services League of Australia (SA/NT Branch), and Mr Bunten, planted a cross in the Field of Remembrance, laid a wreath at the Remembrance Day Service, and addressed the guests at the name unveiling of Private Eric Vivian Holland Martin following the service.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received the 37th Australian AusPol delegation from the United States of America. Delegation members were The Honourable Kelly Gee, Secretary of the Commonwealth of Virginia; The Honourable Preston Blakely, Mayor, Town of Fletcher; The Honourable Alex Dallam, Member, Wisconsin State Assembly; The Honourable Meghan Lukens, Member, Colorado House of Representatives; The Honourable Emerson Levy, Member, Oregon House of Representatives; Mr Jayson Ronk, Vice President, Blue Cross Idaho; Ms Katherine Brownlee, Senior Manager, Government Affairs and Public Policy, American Gas Station; and Mr Gilberto Soria Mendoza, Manager, Government Relations, Upstart.
In the evening, at the University of Adelaide, Mr Bunten presented certificates to students at the Children’s University Australasia Graduation Ceremony.
