On Tuesday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours.

Afterwards, the Governor hosted a luncheon for official representatives at the investiture ceremony. Guests were Commander Rebecca Wilson ADC RAN, Commanding Officer, HMAS Encounter; Brigadier Don Hogben, Army Area Representative - South Australia, The Australian Army, and Mrs Susan McCarthy; Air Commodore Grant Fifield CSC, Commander Air Warfare Centre, Royal Australian Air Force – Edinburgh; and Commissioner Grant Stevens APM LEM, Commissioner of South Australia Police, and Mrs Emma Stevens.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Aria Bolkus MP, Member for Colton.

Later, at the State Library of South Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Royal Geographical Society of South Australia 2026 Award Ceremony, and afterwards, with Mr Bunten, presented awards. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Royal Geographical Society of South Australia.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Opening Night performance of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ by the State Theatre Company South Australia.
