On Tuesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Lucy Hood MP, Minister for Education. 

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, hosted ceremonies at which she invested recipients of Australian Honours with the insignia of their awards.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted a luncheon for the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations. 

Later, at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the attendees at an event for Committee for Adelaide members. The Governor is patron of the Committee for Adelaide. 

In the evening, at Hilton, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, was presented with a City of West Torrens Civic Award for outstanding service to the Council by Mr Michael Coxon, His Worship the Mayor.
