On Tuesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor departed for a Vice Regal visit to the Adelaide Plains Council, where, at the Mallala Chambers, she met Mr Mark Wasley, Mayor, Adelaide Plains Council, and Mr James Miller, Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Plains Council.

Afterwards, at the Mallala Lions Emergency Relief Centre, the Governor met Ms Tracey Cranwell, President, Lions Club of Mallala and District, and Mr Brenton Bell, Secretary, Lions Club of Mallala and District, toured the facility and was briefed on operations.

Later, at Mallala, the Governor visited the Mallala Museum, where she was met by Mr Marcus Strudwicke, Deputy Mayor, Adelaide Plains Council; Ms Christine Young, Museum Committee Deputy Chairperson, Mallala Museum, and Ms Laura Parsons, Museum Secretary, Mallala Museum.

Afterwards, the Governor visited the Moquet Lee Pinery Fire Memorial, where she was met by Mr Peter March, Chair, Moquet Lee Trust Committee and Mr Derek Tiller, Trustee, Moquet Lee Trust Committee.

In the afternoon, at the Mallala Council Chambers, the Governor attended a lunch with Adelaide Plains Council Elected Members and Executive Management Team. Guests included Mr Mark Wasley, Mayor; Mr Marcus Strudwicke, Deputy Mayor; Councillor Kay Boon; Councillor Terry-Anne Keen; Councillor Eddie Stubing; Mr James Miller, Chief Executive Officer; Mr Tom Jones, Director Infrastructure and Environment; Mr Mike Ravo, Director Development and Community; Mr Rajith Udugampola, Director Finance; and Ms Amy Fagan, Acting Director Corporate Services.

Afterwards, at Two Wells, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Tom Jones and Mr Mike Ravno, toured the Two Wells region, where she received a briefing on the Main Streets Project and Town Centre Crown Land Retail initiative, before returning to Adelaide.
