On Tuesday morning Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a visit to the City of Onkaparinga, where they met with Ms Erin Thompson, Mayor, and Mr Scott Ashby, Chief Executive Officer, who accompanied the Governor and Mr Bunten during their visit.

Afterwards at the Woodcroft Community Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten met with councillors and community members.

Later in Seaford Heights, the Governor and Mr Bunten toured the recently opened Southern Materials Waste Recovery Facility followed by a luncheon at the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Bunten viewed the Aldinga Sports Park, Super School and Housing Developments; and received a briefing on the Wearing Street redevelopment and Place of Courage and Witton Bluff.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the presentation of Barkuma’s Employer Awards.

During the day volunteer tour guides from the Art Gallery of South Australia toured Government House.
