On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Nat Cook MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Afterwards, the Governor received The Honourable Reggie Martin MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Later at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End, the Governor, as Patron of the South Australian Sports Federation Inc, addressed the gathering and jointly unveiled a plaque at the launch of the Marjorie Jackson-Nelson Centre.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten, with Ms Katherine Bunten, received Mr Clive West, followed by a dinner.
