On Wednesday, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a visit to the City of Burnside, where, at Kensington Park, they met Ms Anne Monceaux, Mayor; Ms Julia Grant, Chief Executive Officer; and Mr Martin Cooper, Director Community and Development, City of Burnside, who accompanied the Governor and Mr Bunten during their visit, commencing with a tour of The Regal Theatre.

Afterwards, at Kensington Wama - Kensington Gardens Reserve, the Governor and Mr Bunten viewed the wetland and Indigenous Reflection Area, followed by a tour of the Laurel Avenue Pirkurna Wirra - Peter Bennett Organic Community Garden, where they met members of the Linden Park Community Garden Association.

In the afternoon, at the Burnside Town Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a luncheon hosted by the City of Burnside.

Afterwards, at Glenside, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited the Burnside Library and Toy Library, followed by a visit to The Shed and The Burnside Biodiversity Nursery including afternoon tea with program participants and volunteers.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to acknowledge the contribution of those who have supported Government House throughout the year.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Tim Stollznow, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, MyVenue, and Mrs Michelle Stollznow, followed by a dinner.
