Governor at the AGSA Dangeously Modern exhibition

On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Leon Bignell MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Afterwards, at the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Governor, Mr Bunten and Ms Sophie Bunten toured the ‘Dangerously Modern: Australian Women Artists in Europe 1890-1940’ exhibition. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Art Gallery of South Australia.

Later, the Governor spoke by telephone to the Reverand Canon Ali Wurm, Parish Priest, The Anglican Parish of Parkside St Oswald’s Church Adelaide.

In the afternoon, the Governor received The Honourable Karlene Maywald, South Australian Water Ambassador and Mr Mark Carey, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Hydro-dis Pty Ltd.

Yesterday’s Vice‑Regal news incorrectly referred to Dr Elizabeth Dalman OAM. Whilst previously holding this award, Dr Dalman was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the King’s Birthday Honours list and is thus now Dr Elizabeth Dalman AM.
