On Wednesday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Terry Stephens MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Later the Governor and Mr Bunten received The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Ms Sandy Verschoor and Mr Arman Abrahimzadeh OAM, Deputy Lord Mayor, and Mr Andrew Turner, Deputy Mayor of Christchurch, and delegates from the Christchurch City Council, followed by a morning tea.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Sarah Kirlew, Consul General for South India, Australian Consulate-General Chennai.

In the afternoon at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the funeral service for the late Mr William (Bill) Spurr AO.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Gemma Jones, Andrew Hough, Kathryn Bermingham, Miles Kemp, Tia Ewen and Lauren Thomas-Nehmy from The Advertiser, followed by refreshments.
