On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor participated in the Corporate Cup.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for official guests of the investiture ceremony. Guests included Commander Emma McDonald-Kerr ADC RAN, Commanding Officer, HMAS Encounter; Colonel Timothy Orders, Representing the Army Area Representative – South Australia, HQ 9th Brigade, The Australian Army, and Mrs Hannah Orders; Group Captain Simon Bird, Representing the Senior Australian Defence Force Officer – Edinburgh, Royal Australian Air Force – Edinburgh, and Mrs Joanne Bird; and Commissioner Grant Stevens APM, Commissioner of Police, South Australia Police, and Mrs Emma Stevens; Mr Rik Morris, SA Representative for the Council for the Order of Australia, and SA Representative for the Australian Bravery Decorations Council; and Mr Tony Metcalf OAM, State Chairman, The Order of Australia Association (SA Branch), and Mrs Cheryl Metcalf.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Penny Griggs, Chair, Mr Andy Packer, Artistic Director and CEO, and Ms Rebecca Pearce, Executive Director, Slingsby.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor, who is patron of The Returned and Services League of Australia (SA/NT Branch), and Mr Bunten, hosted a dinner for Mrs Cheryl Cates, Immediate Past State President, RSL SA, and member of the Veterans’ Advisory Council of South Australia, and Mr Peter Cates.
