On Wednesday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Mat Tinkler, Chief Executive Officer, Save the Children Australia, and Ms Breony Carbines, Regional Manager, Save the Children Australia – South Australia.

Later in Adelaide, the Governor, as patron of the Lyceum Club (Adelaide), officially launched the Club’s Centenary Book - One Hundred Years of Women's Voices.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor, as Chair of the South Australian Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, hosted a luncheon for Committee Members and candidates. The Committee consists of Dr Rachel Buxton, Deputy Chair, Professor Caroline McMillen AO, Mr David Reynolds PSM, Mr Marin Haese, Dr Kelli Francis-Staite, Ms Sarah Kelly, and Professor John Watson, assisted by Committee Secretaries Professor Justin Chalker and Professor John Williams AM.

In the late afternon the Govenror, as patron of the Leaders Institute of South Australia, hosted the Governor's Leadership Foundation Program Session.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to acknowledge Mr Vincent Ciccarello’s time as Managing Director of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. Guests included Mrs Sandra Ciccarello, Mrs Shivani Marx, Former Chief Operating Officer and Mr Geoffrey Marx, and Mrs Shecky Kennedy, Executive Assistant and Mr Shaun Kennedy.
