On Wednesday morning, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, Her Excellency the Governor officially opened the Refugee Communities Association of Australia’s 2026 National Conference.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received the Premier, the Honourable Peter Malinauskas MP, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, and officiated at the swearing-in of the Premier, Ministers, and Parliamentary Secretaries, before, together with Mr Bunten, hosting refreshments for those attending the ceremony.

In the afternoon, the Governor spoke by telephone to His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia.

Later, at St Luke Anglican Church, the Governor presented awards at The Mother’s Union in the Diocese of Adelaide’s 2026 Lady Day Service. The Governor is patron of The Mother’s Union.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor hosted a reception for the 2026 Zonta Young Women in Leadership Program.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA), and Mr Bunten, attended the 2025/26 Bradman Rolton Medal Night.
