On Wednesday morning, at Victor Harbor, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Encounter Lutheran College and Investigator College, where they spoke with students and staff.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited the Victor Harbor Horse Tram Stables, followed by a lunch with staff.

Afterwards, at Mount Compass, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Mount Compass Area School, where they spoke with students and staff.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Mr John Williams, Australian Consul‑General, Shanghai.

Later again, the Governor spoke by telephone to Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs.

In the evening the Governor hosted a reception to thank supporters of Barkuma.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to thank the Governor’s Deputies. Guests were Dr Richard Harris SC OAM, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia and Mrs Fiona Harris; The Honourable Chief Justice Christopher Kourakis, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Supreme Court of South Australia; The Honourable Justice Mark Livesey, President, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of South Australia and Mrs Catherine Livesey; and The Honourable Justice Tim Stanley, Court of Appeal.

During the day, students from Bowden Brompton Community School toured Government House.
