On Friday morning, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten returned to Adelaide on conclusion of their visit to Canberra. 

In the evening, at Her Majesty’s Theatre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, attended the opening night performance of Hansel and Gretel by the State Opera of South Australia, and addressed the guests at the post show celebration. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the State Opera of South Australia and the Friends of the State Opera of South Australia. 

During the day, students from The Heights School toured Government House.
