On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Senator Leah Blyth, Senator for South Australia and Shadow Assistant Minister for Stronger Families and Stronger Communities.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Travis Thomas, Chairperson, Nukunu Wapma Thura, Nukunu elder Mr Lawrie Thomas and Mrs Heather Thomas, and Ms Bianca Lena.

In the evening, at the Mercury Cinema, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the Helpmann Academy Graduate Film Showcase and presented the Jury Award to the winning director. The Governor is patron of the Helpmann Academy.
