On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to the Honourable Marjorie Jackson-Nelson AC CVO MBE.
Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Willunga Waldorf School, where they spoke to students and staff.
In the afternoon, at the Sea Rescue Headquarters, West Beach, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering and presented National Medals and clasps to Squadron members. The Governor is patron of the South Australian Sea Rescue Squadron.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Petra Kalive, Artistic Director, State Theatre Company, South Australia.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to celebrate the Australian Dance Theatre’s 60th Anniversary.
Later, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, attended the South Australian Skills Commission’s 2025 South Australian Training Awards Gala Presentation Dinner and presented the Adult Community Education Provider of the Year Award.
