On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Liza Annese, CEO of Chief Executive Women.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Kay Burton, Founder of the SA Philanthropy Network. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Network.

Later, at Government House, the Governor, was interviewed by Ms Sarah Hender from SA Life.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the Adelaide Festival 2026 Opening Night, and afterwards, attended a performance of ‘The Cherry Orchard’.

During the day, students from St Paul Lutheran School toured Government House.
