On Thursday morning, at SkyCity, Her Excellency the Governor officially opened the Committee for Adelaide’s 2026 International Women’s Day Breakfast. The Governor is patron of the Committee for Adelaide.

Later, at Morphetville, as part of their program of school visits, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Dara School, and spoke with staff and students.

In the evening, in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Australia Day Council of South Australia, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the Citizen of the Year Awards Ceremony.
